Hi, my name is Veltin!
I'm interested in how computer science methods can improve real-world problems, and I'm particularly fascinated by applying AI and data-centric methods to them.

Currently, I'm working on the BMBF-funded project PASCAL, which aims to reduce waiting times at traffic lights by applying deep reinforcement learning to their controllers. Before joining the AI-Lab as a researcher, I wrote my master's thesis at the chair and the Fraunhofer IFF on human action recognition in industrial assembly scenarios.
